According to the Ottawa Citizen, Jesse Winchester will get a long look at training camp with the Senators.
In fact, new coach Craig Hartsburg will likely place the rookie on one of the top two lines in camp. Hartsburg plans to split up the Daniel Alfredsson, Dany Heatley and Jason Spezza line in order to spread the offense.
With Mike Fisher and Antoine Vermette likely the others among the top six, there remains one opening. Every chance will be given to Winchester to crack the Sens lineup.
Should Winchester make the team on the top two lines, he could easily score 50 points as a rookie.
