The Ducks put Lindstrom on waivers on Thursday in an attempt to send him to their AHL affiliate. However, the Hawks, very thin at forward, claimed the 24 year-old left winger on Friday.Lindstrom was acquired by the Ducks in an off-season trade from the Columbus Blue Jackets.
In 37 NHL games with the Blue Jackets, Lindstrom recorded 8 points.
