The following players were cut by the Oilers: Devan Dubnyk, Adam Huxly, Slava Trukhno, Tim Sestito, Tyler Spurgeon, and Liam Reddox. Carl Corazzini and Ryan Potulny were put on waivers.
The Blackhawks cut the following players today: Petri Kontiola, Evan Brophey and Pascal Pelletier.

Interesting that Trukhno got cut, he had a big season in the AHL last year. However, the Oilers might be more interested in seeing him get big minutes in the AHL rather than fourth-line NHL time.
