Maybe I'm crazy or maybe its just wishful thinking but in light of Gonchars season ending injury would a possible trade for a D-man make sense...maybe Kaberle/Kubina and a 1st for Staal?

You have got to be kidding me. That is the worst trade I've heard in a long long time. Maybe Staal for Kubina & a first but even then I would still not want to make that trade. Toronto has nothing in the way of trade bait imo.
Staal is on the last year of a cheap contract after that he will command big dollars and i dont think the pens can afford to have malkin and crosby at 8.7 mil a pop and staal. Mabye its a little far fetched but i think Pittsburgh has to do something.

I had a good laugh at that. Staal is one of the best defensive forwards in the game and in my opinion. He is easily worth the 4 mil plus he will get from the Penguins and is a key part to that team that they will not be traded...sorry make that thrown away for an over paid d-man like Kubina no matter how much the folks in Toronto would like to believe so.

Actually Corey, Stall had 82 points and was 16th in the league. Plus, Carolina just signed him to a 5 year deal. He's gonna stay and he is a great forward!! Go Canes.

That's interesting, I just don't see Staal fitting in in Toronto for some reason.
The funny thing is if Kaberle gets moved to Pittsburgh for Staal , look for a pick coming back with Jordan. Kaberle's value is very high around the league, I'm, guessing a second would do it.

Who is this 'Stall' that is being talked about?
If Staal gets traded, its going to have to be a pretty damn even deal, unless he starts lighting it up, which even then I couldn't see him getting traded until the draft, if at all. All I can say is Kaberle will most likely be traded at or before the deadline, because his NTC window opens up this summer so if he doesn't accept a trade, he will be shipped wherever without choice, where as if he does accept a trade he will be able to pick where he goes.
Also, I wasnt aware that trolling was a hobby of some.
