I don't know about you guys, but Khabibulin is a cute son of a bitch
Who are the top 5 contenders for Nikolai?
I am thinking the following for no other reason than they have big question marks in the crease:
1)Atlanta- I know there is questions surrounding Kari Lehtonen but. But I read they were second guessing picking up Schneider because they didn't want to spend the money.
2)Tampa Bay- This is a long shot with them hoping Smith becomes what they hoped and Kolzig being there to guide him along. But who knows with that Tampa ownership.
3)Colorado- Budaj/Raycroft....enough said.
4)Los Angeles- Hasn't had a solid starting goaltender since Felix the Cat.... lol you get the point.
Overall I think Chicago is going to get stuck with him... for now anyway.
You're forgetting the Sens.
I was going to put them down but they did pick up Auld and so that being said who leaves? I don't see Chicago picking up Gerber.
I don't like the move for Ottawa either way.
LA will most likely pick him up in my opinion
I think it is a good fit there too. But if they are trying for another top 5 pick they should stick with what they have.
