Hawks to sign Kevyn Adams

According to TFP:

Once the Chicago Blackhawks get under the salary cap, the team will sign veteran center Kevyn Adams to a contract.

Adams has been skating in Chicago and waiting for the club to free up enough space to fit his contract under the league-imposed $56.7 million cap.

Adams, who soon turns 34, spent last season with the Blackhawks and registered two assists in 22 games.

In 540 career NHL games with Toronto, Florida, Columbus, Carolina, Phoenix and the Hawks, Adams has accumulated 59 goals and 77 assists for 136 points, along with 317 PIM.

EDIT: Robert Lang just got traded to the Candiens for a 2nd round choice. That means Adams will be signed soon.
