Bogosian Signs

TSN reports that the Atlanta Thrashers have signed free agent prospect and 3rd overall pick, Zach Bogosian to a 3 year entry level contract. Bogosian played his junior hockey with the Peterborough Petes and was a stand-out d-man. He is born in Massena,NY and has a big frame that anyone would be afraid of (maybe not Chuck Norris).

Scotty's Take: Great move by Thrashers locking up this top prospect. They needed a defenseman like this after they lost Braydon Coburn.

to bad they have horrible management, I dont even see an upside to this team, and i seriously doubt Kovalchuk re-signs

Kovalchuk will leave, barring some incredible trades during the season to convince him to stay. I agree with corey, I don't see much upside to this team other then this guy, and 1 or two other prospects.

So let's Balsillie buy them and move them to Hamilton.

Nice Chuck Norris joke there!

good move. I watched the kid at the WJC camp last month and he was a man among boys.
