Injury roundup

-It seems that Nashville Predators forward Steve Sullivan will not be joining his team this season due to his lingering back problems. Sullivan was expecting to make a comeback this season after sitting out last year. Another brick on the Predators after Radulov's bolting to the KHL.
Expect the Predators to miss the playoffs unless they make a trade or sign a UFA such as Glen Murray or Mark Parrish.

-Bobby Allen of the Boston Bruins is still suffering from two herniated discs in his back. Allen, a restricted free agent, only played 19 games with the Bruins last season. He had 0 point. Don't expect Allen to play before Christmas, if he plays at all.

-Wild defenseman Brent Burns had surgery to remove loose bodies from his left elbow last Thursday and will miss the first two weeks of training camp.
The Wild called the surgery successful and preventative, and said that Burns is expected to return in about four weeks.
Minnesota starts training camp Sept. 20 in Grand Forks, N.D. Burns should be in the lineup for the Wild opener, but it may take a few weeks before is he playing at 100%.
