Other News

Hey guys heres some other news:

  • The Montreal Canadiens are trying to get an outdoor game to commemorate there centennial season, I hear it could be against the New York Rangers.
  • Sidney Crosby has been awarded the order of Nova Scotia. Crosby is the youngest person to receive this honor at just 21 years of age.
  • Former Leafs coach Pat Quinn has been given the job of World Junior Championship head coach for Canada. There will be lots of added pressure coming off last years winning team.
  • Marian Gaborik of the Minnesota Wild has now said that he is still unsure of what his future holds. He still has not decided whether to sign a new contract with the Wild or pursue another team during next years free agent frenzy.
  • TSN has added 2 former coaches to their panel, John Tortorella and Ray Ferraro will be welcome additions to their already highly educated hockey family. I'm sure Torts is in to replace Milbury.
