Andy Strickland reports:The St. Louis Blues have signed free agent prospect and 4th overall pick, Alex Pietrangelo to an undisclosed contract. Pietrangelo played his junior hockey with the Niagara Ice Dogs and was a stand-out d-man.
The King City, Ontario, native has excellent on-ice vision and a high hockey IQ. He should quarterback the Blues power play with Eric Johnson in the upcoming years.
