Kovalchuk Getting Upset......

It was the end of the 2007-08 NHL regular season and it marked yet another campaign that the Atlanta Thrashers failed to make the playoffs. When you don’t make the playoffs, there are always some heated moments within the dressing room and the board room. For the Thrashers, it was Ilya Kovalchuk who screamed he needed a center man to play with. Since he’s been in Atlanta, he’s played with over the hill veterans in Bobby Holik and Todd White. He has said that this summer if they don't get a quality center man, there will be tough roads ahead. Well last time I checked GM Waddell and CO. have yet to sign one. This could mean tough roads ahead. If Kovalchuk goes, so does there team and if he’s gone they better hope to bring in somebody good……real good. Kovalchuk is their team; he’s a Fan Favorite, Goal Scorer, and Team Leader.

THE BOTTOM LINE: Watch Closely On This Situation Over The Course Of This Year, Kovalchuk May Be A Goner Not On Managements Terms But He’s Going To Want OUT!

Savard played with Kovalchuk, didn't he? Regardless, I can see why he is upset.
