This was reported long ago on HockeyBuzz, almost a month and a half ago.

By Ryan Garner, the Sharks beat writer for the Vallejo Times-Herald. As James said, reported long ago. The two parties had a verbal agreement earlier this summer, kind of like Sutter had with Langkow.

I don't remember Garner having this info on Hockeybuzz. However on the SJ Mercury News Sharks blog, Pollak had pointed out that an extension with Pickles was close. Other than that, there was a french poster on the HFboards Sharks board that he did sign for 4 years around that price. In any event, if you are right, you might be the first outlet to put it on the internet publicly as finalized.
