I now have heard the following IN THE SUNDIN RACE,These come from what ive heard throughout the summer and now:

Montreal(OUT)

Rangers(OUT,THEY DONT HAVE CAP SPACE)

Toronto(IN)

Vancouver(OUT)

Anaheim(About To Enter Sweepstakes)

Ottawa(OUT)

SOUNDS AS THOUGH SUNDIN WILL HEAD BACK TO THE LEAFS.

Why are the Canucks out? I've read as recently as last week that Gillis has left the door open for Sundin if he decides to come there.

At this point, I'm not convinced Sundin is going to land anywhere in the NHL. He clearly isn't too concerned with hockey, or he'd have made a move by now.

I think he's retired, at least for now. Maybe he'll change his mind and return next season, but I don't expect a mid-season signing by Sundin this year.

Anonymous, Its not a matter of the Nucks not wanting him, Its a matter of Sundin not wanting to go there. I am told they are out of the race at the moment.

Ah, sorry I thought by out you meant that they where no longer interested, not that Sundin wasn't interested in them.

soctty, the rangers sent down korpikoski thats 1.1, rissmiller can be sent down thats 1, and by moving prucha thats 1.6 that all adds up to 3.7 freed for Sundin. They can and do have the cap space

Yeah Toronto makes the most sence, but if I'm Cliff, I don't even want him back.

if i was the leafs i would tell sunding.. eff off. the leafs are playing well and dont need the sundin show ruining their hard work.

If the Leafs take him back you can count on another 10-11 place finish. I like Sundin but move on already.
