According to Andy Strickland, former Bruins forward Glen Murray will undergo ankle surgery on Novemeber 11th which will prevent him from playing hockey this season and could end his career.
The Bruins bought out Murray's contract this summer in order the shed salary. Murray played 63 games last season, notching 17 goals and 30 points.
Murray, who turns 36 on November 1st, also played for the Kings and the Penguins during his 16-year career.
