Pavol Demitra suffered a torso injury vs the Hawks yesterday and is day-to-day.
Darcy Hordichuk is out 7-10 days with a knee sprain. He suffered the injury in yesterday's game.
Sami Salo also left the contest after only 2 shifts due to a groin injury. He is also day-to-day.
Salo and Demitra are fringe players and the Canucks will have to live with the various ailments that will affect both players throughout the season.

I think you mean FRAGILE players. Fringe players are those on the edge of making the NHL. Both of them are above average players.
