The Columbus Blue Jackets have sent young defensive stud Kris Russell down to the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL. He was only supposed to be an experiment for the beginning of the year so no surprise here.

I think you mean did not get hurt and I think the answer is 2001 with Bridgeport, but I could be wrong.
