Blue-chip prospect Claude Giroux will likely start the season in the minors. The Flyers think he should rather log plenty of minutes in the AHL rather than play on their 4th line.
He remains a top prospect, but looks like some seasoning is in order before he breaks through. He will be recalled during the season as soon as another player goes down with an injury.
