What kind of joke is that? Where did you hear that Savard is on the market? I really don't think PC would trade away one of the best players he has. This team is on the rise now. To get rid of a player like Savard would be suicide.
honestly, if your going to make a post like this, give us some kind of hint of proof. and if you "cant say" or your "sources" are telling you not to say anything, then dont post it..
Agreed with Will and Vince. Trading Savard out would be losing a nice asset. He has gotten much better defensively, and only increased his passing skills...
I don't see him going anywhere, for any kind of return.
First off, i'm not really going to stoop to your level of childish name calling. All i was asking for was a source.
As for the savard trade, After doing a little research i've found conflicting reports, the Boston Herald quoted PC as saying he wouldnt trade savvy,(take that for what it's worth, a gm's word to the press isnt always truthful)
Then again a few other sites, Hockeybuzz (Take that for also what it's worth.) being one of them posted that he in fact is being talked about in a deal with Vancouver for Bieksa and possibly other pieces. It'd be a great trade for the Canucks, but as for the bruins, unless it was bieksa and like kesler or someone significant, bad trade IMO.
My personal two cents also thinks this is false for one reason. Outside the Garden, there's a big promotional billboard saying "we want it as bad as you do" or something, the significance is that its chara, bergy, AND SAVVY. So to advertise him then trade him away a week later sounds fishy...

I can't imagine why the Bruins would shop Marc Savard. He's gotten so much better defensively, and is still a producer on offense.
and the habs had to go and get lang at 4 million when they could've had savard at 5 million...
who is not on the market nowadays?
NO he is not.
Just say no to posting bad/false information.

Savard is going NOWHERE.
But just incase he does go somewhere, he should go to the Leafs. We need a legit top line player.
This was reported on RDS.CA...
