Alfredsson out 2-4 weeks with knee injury

Ottawa Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, the team announced today.

The surgery is designed to remove a bone chip in his right knee that was dislodged during last Sunday’s 3-1 win over the Penguins.

He is expected to miss two to four weeks depending on Alfie's recovery.

Mike Fisher will play tomorrow vs the Red Wings.
