The Edmonton Oilers have demoted center Gilbert Brule to the AHL to get some seasoning.
The Oilers also cut Taylor Chorney and Theo Peckham. Brule needs a full season in the AHL before being efficient in the NHL.
Brule's demotion means Robbie Schremp finally made the cut.
