Gabby To Habs?

This has been a rumor for a bit now but confirmation has come in today from RDS that the habs are TALKING to the Wild about Gaborik. This would be some sort a blockbuster am i right? anyway thoughts and/or possible offers that you think could work are completely welcomed!

confirmation of the rumor, or of the trade?

this move would put the habs over the top, maybe even over the red wings in terms of depth and talent. I never saw it coming if it does happen..

It has been edited they are talking about gaborik. They meaning Bob Gainey and Doug Risebrough

A few teams have been mentioned as talking with the Wild. Montreal, Ottawa, Pittsburgh, and Los Angeles primarily.

It all could be very true. I think they should begin talking sooner rather than later, especially considering that Mr. Fragile is riding press box pine again with yet another injury.

The more he is injured, the longer his injury goes, the less likely they'll be to land a decent return. But I do think that either way, his value is based more on perception than actuality and in actuality there won't be a mega deal involved. I think those teams in contact with the Wild realize that they're dealing with a guy who goes down to injury after being brushed by a stiff breeze and will not be unloading major talent for a potential medicaire patient.

edmonton and vancover have to... Gabby like the oilers system and the wild are after prospects which oilers have tons of incluiding schremp... And vancover has alot of cap room if they dnt follow thru on sundin and with demitra with the nucks i can only assume theyve spoken
