Jeremy Colliton, Mitch Fritz, Tim Jackman, Kurtis McLean, Trevor Smith, Chris Lee and Yann Danis have all been sent down to Bridgeport (AHL) by the Islanders. This means Joey McDonald will backup Rick Dipietro.
Rookies Josh Bailey and Jack Hillen are still with the team as the 13th forward and 7th d-man respectively.

Not a smart idea to keep Bailey as the 13th forward...he either needs second-line time in the AHL or at least full fourth/third line time with the Isles. Keeping him as 13th will slow his development.
