Luke Schenn to start season in Toronto

According to TSN, Cliff Fletcher told the press the Leafs like Schenn so much that they will keep him with the big club to start the season.

Expect Schenn to log plenty of ice-time before Finger and Kubina come back from their injury. Scheen can play 9 games before being sent back to junior.

I am the first one to jump on the Schenn train to the Stanley Cup lol. But this scares me. I hope it works out to the Leafs benefit.

It shouldn't scare you. Going to juniors isn't automatically a boost to development. Sometimes it's a detriment.

Schenn will go back to junior when Kubina comes back.
