The Florida Panthers signed forward Karl Stewart today to play with their AHL affiliate in Rochester.
Stewart last played in the NHL in the 2006-07 season, bouncing between the Blackhawks, Penguins and Lightning.
Stewart will be a depth forward likely getting a call-up when an injury occurs.
