The Sabres sent forwards Mark Mancari, Mathieu Darche, Dylan Hunter, Marek Zagrapan, Nathan Gerbe and Tim Kennedy, and defensemen Chris Butler and Michael Funk to Portland of the AHL. Mancari and Darche have to clear waivers and could be claimed by another team.
25 players remain now in camp, including Gaustad who's injured. Mike Weber will likely be the player cut.
